8:15 pm, June 25, 2025 – Sycamore Canyon, much of the lower East side of Santa Barbara, and Montecito lower village (at least) is in the dark this Sunday evening, as of about 7:10 pm.
The cause is unknown. Grocery stores like Vons at Coast Village Rd and Sprouts are shut down, and many traffic lights are out. Edison has not posted about it on their website yet, and the police in the photo were not aware of the outages.

Huge power outage montecito 6:00 pm till 1:00 am Sunday evening, many areas power out East Side. Cox Cable also down. Cause unknown.
Can’t wait for all of California to be on electric this should go well lol.
