Why are there helicopters circling the Mission Canyon area? Time now is 4:45 p.m., Friday
There’s a Helicopter circling in Mission Canyon for over 20 minutes now ???
Police cars driving around and a helicopter circling over head – anyone know what’s happening?

Don’t know , but was definitely the sheriff, heard them go back in service, copter 3 I think. Also at least 4 different City Fire engines out of their coverage area and multiple police presence in or near the area Sheriff, CHP and City.
Was it timed with when the car drove off sycamore canyon?
Don’t know about that, but the time is listed here and the banking they used while circling put what ever they were looking for in upper Mission Cyn. and lower Botanic Garden, nowhere near any part of Sycamore Cyn.
I was already outside and pretty much watched it the whole time and there was no multi source emergency response before or during, so likely just police activity for suspicious activity or warrants violation.
