Gun shots in Goleta on Monday?

We heard 2 gun shots on Monday night out in west Goleta (near Winchester Canyon) and saw multiple police cars in the area within minutes. Does anyone know what happened? There were multiple posts on Nextdoor.com of people trying to find out what happened in their neighborhood, but those quickly and unfortunately devolved into some sort of gun rights debate. Just looking for facts if anyone has them? Roger, did you maybe hear anything? My kids were pretty shaken by the whole thing and I don’t blame them, given that shootings are constantly in the news these days. Thanks for any info!
