3.8 Earthquake in Santa Ynez Saturday

A 3.8 magnitude earthquake struck the Santa Ynez area around 6:45 p.m. Saturday.

The earthquake was originally registered as 4.0 but was downgraded to 3.8 magnitudes. 

US Geological Survey (USGS) confirmed the quake was 5 km SSE of the City of Santa Ynez. 

Residents reported feeling the earthquake from Santa Maria to Carpinteria.

Anyone else feel that 4.0 Earthquake in Santa Ynez, around 6:45pm ?? I’m on the Westside of Santa Barbara, and I felt it…my place was shaking / rolling……. They also had a smaller one 3.8, right before that 4.0 quake
