Does anyone know what this is?

I saw it at Hendry’s beach on Monday during low tide.

Tar ball or lava rock?

  1. Out in Death Valley there are entire canyons where water has worn the rock smooth and you can see these patterns. it begins to look like marble, but Gneiss is more like limestone to walk on … its textured a bit like sandpaper. There is also a lot of it in Europe , and it makes great climbing.
