County Fire responded to a water rescue off the Venoco Pier/Ellwood Pier in Goleta today around 1:40 p.m. Several units were assigned.
Sounds like someone wasn’t in the water yet but was threatening to jump off the pier. The area was cleared less than an hour later, didnt sound like they ended up jumping.
