So yesterday morning I heard a call that someone was delusional and under the influence of drugs saying they had a bomb on them in Goleta. The subject was a regular offender known by the police, not sure if a big deal was made of the call I think now, did not sound that way. It occurred in the area of Phelps and Canon Green. As soon as I heard the call I remembered the time that a security guard I worked with called in on our 2-Way radio and started yelling the code for a Bomb Threat which is Code 100. “I have a code 100!, I have to code 100!!! I have to code 100!!! I have to code 100 REAL BAD! I HAVE TO CODE 100 RIGHT NOW!!!!I’m going to code 100 in my PANTS!!!!!!” He thought code 100 was going to the bathroom. I think it’s funnier now than it was then because I could not stop laughing this morning after hearing that call and remembering it. Plus the fact there was no bathroom where the guard was posted, sometimes it’s good to have something that makes you laugh even though it happened over 30 years ago.

Saying you have a bomb, even joking, is one of those things you should NEVER do, too many people take it seriously. After all, it is serious and one could find themselves in DEEP SHIT saying something like that especially if the police don’t know you. This is one of those things I know personally because I joked once that I had a Bomb. The people I told did not think it was one bit funny. I was tackled down to the ground hard and after that I joked no more about Bombs. NEVER JOKE OR TELL ANYONE YOU HAVE A BOMB BECAUSE IT IS NO JOKE. If you’re a Security Guard and you speak in code and you have to go to the bathroom learn the correct code if there is such a code for going to the bathroom I’m not sure there is a code for going the bathroom, maybe it’s under the code for break time which is code 7.

• 261 Rape reported by landline in the County of Santa Barbara rape committed by a relative.
• 415 Subject disturbing at 324 West Montecito.
• Vandalism to a window 1000 Block of East Haley.
• 1600 Block of DLV  Vandalism to a window or door.
• Hand injury at the SB Police Station.
• Fall victim 800 Block of South Broadway in Santa Maria.
• 415 Disturbance on Sola.

• 10851 Stolen vehicle 900 Block of Garcia Road.
• Injury traffic accident Mesa at Los Carones.
• Homeless looking male told someone he had a Bomb on him Phelps at Canon Green, but he didn’t have a bomb.
• HMA in a tan silverado at Hendrys Beach road rage followed reporting party then left.
• In other news someone in a brown pickup truck followed another reporting party from the beach to their motel room in the East Beach area of Santa Barbara.
• Mission at Fifth disabled vehicle in the roadway blocking.
• 220pc Investigation Rape in the city limits of Santa Barbara.
• Medical call 1200 Block of Punta Gorda.
• Suicidal subject in Goleta subject says they are going to Live stream it I don’t want to see it. He has warrants to I’ll just say somewhere in Goleta.
• 415 Fight at Righetti High School in Santa Maria.
• Med call 6700 Block of Sarbo Tarde.
• Injury Traffic Accident Camino Del Remedio at Calle Real.
