By Roger the Scanner Guy

When I was younger about 30 or so years ago someone told me that I had a lot in common with this well known Christian musician named Rich Mullins and I said something about the guy being a "Yuppie Goody Two Shoes pansy-ass" then told them where to "get off." Will the other day I saw a movie about Rich Mullins and this Pansy Ass cried all the way through it. It blew me away, both grew up in Indiana with basically the same kind of Father. He did not get beat up that was the only difference but wow, sometimes it takes me a little time for me to take good advice, 30 years or so. It's too bad he passed away but there are a lot of interviews with him on YouTube, as well as his concerts. I used to listen to his music all the time and did not know it as he wrote for Amy Grant and I had a couple tapes of hers. Sometimes when I look in the mirror I see a bag of hammers.

Saw this notice on a friend's Facebook page that a woman walking her dog to Inspiration Point on the 15th of this month was attacked by 2 Jack Russell Terriers that were unleashed while the owners of the Jack Russell's laughed at her running away, the female was bitten twice. When she confronted the couple with their dogs the dog's mom threatened to sue her and refused to exchange information. I'd be kinda angry if something like that happened to me. I would not be interested in using or having the dogs locked up in Doggy Jail I would be really angry. I hope the victim finds these people.so they can be bought to Justice.

Will just 8 More Shoplifting Days till Christmas I have already gotten a couple things which is good looking forward to my Little Caesars gift cards from one of my Sisters. I sent my family all gift cards so much easier packages are harder and you have to wrap gifts UGH!!! I don't like wrapping gifts got all the stuff it will be a miracle if I wrap any. Sure has been chilly at night my electric bill will probably be pretty high as I been using an electric space heater to stay warm not looking for when it gets colder. HERE IS YOUR SCANNER REPORTS.

I saw that post about the Jack Russell Terriers on FB and also shared it. I hope they catch the owner of the dogs and give her a ticket. There's no excuse for being an a$$ with your dogs. Leash them.

There was a homeless person asleep on the grass in a few sleeping bags the other day very near the dog park. He could have been dead. Dog walkers had to walk around him and people didn't know what to do. It was very sad. Sounds like MacKenzie still needs ongoing monitoring. Please report to the police who should then get the public services involved to take the vagrants to a safe place. When will SB solve this problem.

I am amazed "people did not know what to do". Why is that. Everyone has a cell phone today. Call 911. Have people been brainwashed so much that all they think to do is wring their hands and claim this is sad? No, it is not sad. These are the acts of service-resustent vagrants and this needs to be turned over to law enforcement and police chief accountability to the elected city council who is currently refusing to protect legitimate community standards in this town.

It's not that people don't know what to do. It's that the people of this town are so used to all the vagrants they probably just tuned it out. I thought that the dog park being there would drive away the illegal behavior, but it's still there. Law enforcement's hand are tied. They want to enforce laws, but the courts, with the help of our public defenders office(who are some of the biggest enablers of this behavior) get them reduced sentences and on the streets.

So what if someone was sleeping in the grass? Why bother the police with this? This is silly.

A person who is sleeping outside is not a criminal they are homeless..The thing that makes sleeping outside illegal is when someone who is sleeping outside on private property, blocking doorways of businesses, or private homes. The ACLU went after Santa Barbara and Laguna Beach for ticketing people for sleeping outside..Where are you going to sleep if you have no home..Must we roam the land until we drop just so a few haters can get their rocks off? No I used to hide when I slept outside I used to sleep in the parks during daylight hours but never in someones way so this guy was most likely illegal don't call 911 call the business number of the PD IT'S THE SAME THING JUST NOT AN EMERGENCY.. Sorry about the caps not feeling so well today.
