Power flickering in downtown SB. No outage yet.

Tree & power lines down on Loma Alta near SBCC. Loma Alta closed between Cliff & Shoreline for an unknown amount of time. Traffic signals out in this area – please drive slow and safe!

Just a reminder that when the traffic lights are not working, the intersections become 4 way stops. I work near a 4 way stop and every time the power goes out, we have people driving way above the speed limit on a one way street and blowing right through the intersection because the traffic lights aren’t working. There have been several accidents because people don’t stop. They think the one way street is a highway.
I’m in the Santa Barbara Highlands on TV hill, and our power has been out since 6:48 a.m. Bleah!
