Dateline: February 1921
Not many folks today know what a vamp is, but a century ago, people used the word vamp to describe a super-sexy woman on the prowl. The silent movie “All’s Fair in Love” involved two vamps competing for the same guy and chasing him around. (Maybe he considered himself lucky, but usually men in the silent movies were usually trying to get away from vamps.) One of the vamps was the man’s wife, but he did not recognize her.

(Spoiler alert – in the end, he ends up with the wife.)
