Did anyone get an alert last night in burn areas? Im curious. We are not in a burn area, but in santa barbara always seemed to get the alerts when they came out. Last year we got alerts for everything, every region. We don’t mind, as we have friends and relatives in those areas. could they have wrangled in that system to target certain areas and resident better?

Of course it can be better, but the SB Sheriff is in charge of it. They sent out a shelter in place alert for an active shooter to the ENTIRE COUNTY. And alerts in Spanish consistently come out over 20 minutes later than in English.
