Most years edhatters stick to the usual trend lines of the general American public when polled on their resolutions. The top three goals tend to focus on being healthier, saving money, and spending more time with loved ones.

WalletHub conducted a poll of 230 people in the U.S. this December to see what types of resolutions folks are making for 2023, specifically in terms of personal finance.
According to the poll, 1 in 2 Americans are planning to make finance-related New Year’s resolutions (36% more than last year), 3 in 4 Americans planning to spend less money on New Year’s plans this year than last, nearly 2 in 3 Americans are anxious about the future of their finances.
