Does anyone know if disinfecting wipes or hand sanitizer will get stocked again? All the stores and online, day and night, I can’t find any?

Where to Buy Disinfecting Wipes?

To answer the question, Ralphs on Carrillo Street had lots of disinfectant wipes on stock when I was there this morning. You could even choose from more than one brand. There seemed to be no run on them. This having to go to the market at 7 am is a total pisser, but there are no crowds, and supplies of everything seem adequate at that hour. It's still amusing to see the sheeple scuttling about, clutching their giant packages of toilet paper as if a diarrhea attack was imminent momentarily.

“Does anyone know if disinfecting wipes or hand sanitizer will get stocked again?” Sorry nobody is answering your question, OP. —— YES, they will get stocked again.

Is anybody in the medical profession looking in who can recommend if aspirin or Tylenol is better for the fever if it comes, or alternating as I have heard elsewhere?

Doctor Anthony Fauci was asked this very question and responded when pushed "I've taken Tylenol my entire life and will continue to do so" thats good enough for me...Like its been said they are still looking at the ibuprofen and the evidence is not concrete yet.

Supposedly tylenol only. Aspirin is an anti-inflammatory like Advil (ibuprofen). Note that none of this supported by any evidence at this point. Remember COVID19 does not like heat, so you may heal faster if you allow a low-grade fever to sit without medicine (this advice also has no evidence, currently).

I'm going to say this again, even though others have said it. Louder for those in back..... DO NOT MIX BLEACH WITH ANYTHING BUT WATER!!! Seriously. Just DON'T.

If soap and water works as they say, two containers would work: One to wash and one to rinse, wouldn't it?

It's nice to see folks offering their home brew suggestions. BUT, in a situation as critical as this, we definitely don't want to lull ourselves into a false sense of security. Have these DIY sanitizers been proven in a lab to reduce or eliminate the virus? Rubbing alcohol, aka isopropyl alcohol, IPA, etc. has been suggested as a disinfectant component, but be aware that some brands are watered down significantly.

IF you don't find what you are looking for.......Cut rags/t-shirts into a usable "wipe" sizes that you desire. For each cup of water, add 1/4 cup rubbing alcohol, 1 tsp. Dawn dish soap (o-n-l-y use Dawn), 2 Tbsp. ammonia (optional). Place homemade wipes into a container that you can reach in to (I use a 3 qt. Rubbermaid storage container), dump your liquid mixture over the rags and shake container (that has a lid). Use the rags as you would the wipes, and after using, wash used "wipes" in a washing machine (I usually rinse/ring out my rags before washing).

To be effective, the rubbing alcohol needs to be at least 60% in content or higher---------please note. You can make your own hand sanitizer:----------------------------- Mix 12 fluid ounces (1.5 cups) of alcohol with 2 teaspoons of glycerol. You can buy jugs of glycerol online, and it's an important ingredient because it keeps the alcohol from drying out your hands. If you can't find glycerol, proceed with the rest of the recipe anyway and just remember to moisturize your hands after applying the sanitizer. Mix in 1 tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide, then 3 fluid ounces of distilled or boiled (then cooled) water. (If you're working with a lower-concentration solution of rubbing alcohol, use far less water; remember, at least ¾ of your final mixture has to be alcohol.)

No rubbing alcohol, try a Liquor Store (BevMo).....Everclear....I don't believe you can find the "good stuff" (95% or 190 proof) in California...in Cali, it's 151 proof....they sell the real deal in Oregon, but it's kept behind the counter and you have to ask for it. Everclear is a brand name, but like "Kleenex", everyone know what you are talking about.
