One person was injured in a vehicle rollover collision on Highway 101 near Refugio on Saturday.
At 12:24 p.m., Santa Barbara County firefighters received a call of a collision in the southbound lanes, just south of the Refugio beach exit.
State Parks Lifeguards arrived first on the scene and assisted with patient care, according to County Fire Captain Scott Safechuck.
Firefighters arrived and extricated the single occupant, a male driver, from the Ford 150 truck by removing the truck’s roof. The patient was then transported by ground ambulance to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital with moderate injuries.
The cause of the collision is under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
