  1. OMG!!! We were there TWO times this week scooping up bargains. That easily could have been us getting run over by this driver. I have said many times, “It’s only a matter of time before someone gets hurt at this place because there are absolutely no curbs (well, there is a two/three inch curb).” About three months ago, some crazed driver in a Mini Cooper (canary yellow to boot!) smashed into Ralph’s. Watch out people when you are walking in front of storefronts as people are pulling in/out of parking spots. Come to think of it, in the past several years there have been a number of these “smash-ins”: Plaza Liquors on DLV, Ralph’s (now Grocery Outlet) and Presto Pasta TWICE in the same shopping center, CVS on Calle Real, Liquor Store next to the taco/burger place a few blocks beyond Costco, FedEx on Calle Real, Ace Hardware at Fairview Shopping Center, Carlito’s at State /Arlington, and on and on. We were soooooooo lucky that we did not end up in the hospital….or….in a BOX. Yikes!!!!!
