Two people were injured in a multi-vehicle traffic collision on Highway 135 in Santa Maria on Monday.
At 10:07 a.m., Santa Barbara County Firefighters along with a ground ambulance and Calstar air ambulance, responded to the area of Highway 135 and Goodwin. They discovered three vehicles involved, including one vehicle that rolled over, and two patients.
One person suffered minor injuries and was transported to Marian Medical via ground ambulance. Another person sustained moderate injuries and was flown to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital via Calstar helicopter.
No significant extrication was required. The incident is under investigation.
