Three Injured in Highway 101 Rollover

Three motorists sustained injuries from a vehicle rollover on Highway 101 near Highway 1.

At 3:57 p.m. Wednesday, Santa Barbara County firefighters responded to a single vehicle collision in the northbound Highway 101 lanes, just north of Highway 1.

A GMC pickup truck carrying three people had rolled over in the roadway.

One adult female passenger sustained serious injuries and was transported to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital by a Calstar helicopter.

One adult female driver and a female juvenile sustained minor injuries and were transported by ground ambulance.

Two of the three northbound lanes are currently closed.

Fire resources have been released from the incident. The cause of the collision is under investigation.
