Santa Barbara Transient Occupancy Tax Increases 4.2% in May

The City of Santa Barbara received approximately $1.59 million in transient occupancy tax (TOT) for the month of May 2018, which is 4.2% above May 2017 collections.

The City has collected approximately $17.1 million in TOT revenues through 11 months of this fiscal year, which runs from July 1 through June 30.  The City’s adopted TOT budget for fiscal year 2018 is $19,262,400.
