This year, to emphasize their Cancer Recovery Program, Organic Soup Kitchen will be delivering 100% wholesome plant-based holiday meals to cancer patients and seniors with sensitive or compromised immune systems. For the first time in a decade, to honor their plant-based recovery program, they will not distribute turkey or meat for Thanksgiving or Christmas meals.
The plant-based meals will be focused on balanced nutrition, ease of digestibility and nutrient absorption, rich in antioxidants, and with healthy hormone-free fats.
Organic Soup Kitchen will be delivering holiday meals to cancer patients and seniors on November 21st and December 23rd. They are asking the community to get involved by making a donation. All donations will go directly towards supplying low-income Santa Barbara County residents with plant-based holiday meals.
