The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office is asking Vandenberg Village residents in Lompoc to shelter in place.

The alert came before 6:30 a.m. Monday where Deputies are searching for a suspect who ran from a stolen vehicle in the 200-block of St. Andrews.

The suspect was last seen wearing a dark hoodie and jeans. Residents are asked to call 911 to report suspicious subjects in the area.

This is a developing story.
