Harbor Restaurant and Longboard’s Grill Sold

Source: Hayes Commercial Group

The Harbor Restaurant/Longboard’s Grill, one of Santa Barbara’s most recognizable waterfront dining destinations, has sold.

The iconic restaurants on Stearns Wharf have been operated by the Scott family along with Dave Perry for more than four decades, providing some of the best food, romantic dinners, weddings, party venues, and charity events in Santa Barbara.

The sellers will continue to own and operate Harry’s Plaza Café in Loreto Plaza and the Tee-Off restaurant on Upper State Street, so the fine food and service will continue.

The restaurant business was purchased by Santa Barbara Harbor Restaurant, Inc, which has exciting plans to remodel the 12,000-square-foot building with a 5-star menu.

The sale was brokered by Dan Moll of Hayes Commercial Group.

  1. Agreed with the above. Edhat, I love what you do, so take my constructive criticism with love. When you get press releases, rewrite them so they are facts (news) and not ads. It takes 1 minute. In this case, a sample version looks like this:

  2. @Bicyclist. You’re right, I should have included in my sample — “Adapted from a Source Contribution from Hayes Commercial Group.”
Obviously I saw that sourcing on the original. It was referenced in the second sentence of my comment.
