Well, although I heard chatter late morning that they were done with the controlled burn at Figueroa Mtn. It seems that it has come back to life. Just listed on Pulse Point as a vegetation fire, but crews working the fire, including dozers, are on it. Here’s a view from UCSD’s camera HPWREN facing West.

Expect the valley to fill up with smoke again and push up over the Pass.

There was a prescribed burn at Figueroa Mtn [Wednesday]. That smoke has filled up the Valley and is pushing over at the Pass and other places. It smells like fire. It’s not our fire and is under control far away.
