Cat of the Week: Cider

By ASAP Cats

Cat seeking Human (who wants a Smart & Chatty Cat:-)

Cider is a 1 1/2 year old female Orange Tabby who is being fostered by an ASAP volunteer before going to her forever home. Once she gains the trust of her human admirer she will blossom into the chatty and playful girl she is beneath her coquettish exterior. Now that she possesses confidence in her foster parents, she greets them with an upright tail and a chirpy meow. She asks for pets by pushing her head into their hands or rubbing against their legs. Cider is smart too, mastering all food puzzles and she’s learning tricks like head bumps and sit up pretty (video on request:-).

Cider loves to play with a wand toy, especially the running and jumping part! She is happy to sit and quietly watch the birds outside too. Her foster family has introduced her to their other cats and it seems that she would be open to having a feline friend. After a bedtime play session and her final meal of the day, Cider is calm so everyone can have a restful night. Her fosters report that their investment* in Cider returned to them more than they ever expected. Cider is waiting for a special person/home who will be rewarded with the love Cider is looking to give. Her foster family will be happy to tell you more and arrange an introduction.

*investment = tasty meals, playtime, respect and understanding to build a trusting relationship
Every adoptable cat at ASAP is neutered or spayed, treated for fleas, vaccinated and dewormed as needed. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application at: asapcats.org
