I am looking for bergamot oranges locally. Would anyone have one or more trees with extra fruit or know where I could pick up a few pounds?
Try Whole Foods or Trader Joe's
As Captain Jean Luc Picard woud say, "Tea, Earl Grey, Hot" ......... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Earl_Grey_tea
Tri-county produce might have them, or maybe even Santa Cruz Market, and there are any number of fruit stands in Filmore/Piru.
If you can find them, they're $12-$15 per pound; at least one Santa Barbara farm sells them to local fine dining restaurants (I wonder if Silver Bough has managed to snag them all).
Las Palmalitas Ranch in Carpinteria has relationships with Santa Barbara organic farmers who produce small quantities of rare citrus (Buddha's hands, etrogs, yuzus, mandarin limes, makrut and caviar limes, bergamots and sudachi).
You can order some delivered to you. I saw a place named Pearson Ranch.
If you google bergamot oranges the Pearson Ranch sells 5 lb boxes for $40.00. May be other places listed on google too.
