Waiting until SBPD hosts a skateboard buyback. Last I checked skateboarding is illegal..
Skateboarding is not a crime.
To the contrary, it is a non polluting form of transportation, which is badly needed. When you pickup your board and hit someone in the head with it, yeah that’s a crime.
Not sure it is flat out illegal to use a skateboard downtown. I think it’s just illegal to ride them on the sidewalk, but ok in the bike lane, right?
I think it’s illegal always in bike lanes. for downtown, its illegal one block “east” and “west” (yeah, yeah i know it runs diagonal to all you north/south vs east/west nitpickers) of state street from sola to cabrillo. However i think Rinconer was responding to Millimesa saying its illegal without any parameters, which is incorrect
