I filmed The Carpinteria Community Awards Banquet on April 6, 2024 at Girls Inc. of Carpinteria.
Rick Olmstead was chosen as the 2023 Carpinterian of the Year for his volunteer work with the homeless. Lizbeth Alpizar Farfan was chosen as the Jr. Carpinterian of the Year. Camryn Bernstein and Sara Fakinos were the two runners-up for the Jr. Carpinterian of the Year. Carpinteria teachers of the year went to Arturo Monarres and Luis Quintero. Business of the year went to the Carpinteria Coastal View News.
