A 12 year old female passenger was ejected onto the northbound #1 lane where she succumbed to her injuries. While this collision remains an investigation, alcohol and or drugs were determined not to be a contributing factor.

12-Year-Old Dies in Traffic Collision

It really takes less than five seconds to make sure you and everyone else has their seat belt on as you pull out of the driveway. Who knows though, maybe she only had her for a second to rearrange as a lot of have before, including me. Either way my heart breaks for the tragic loss of a young life, may her family be at peace.

The Lincoln Navigator is a tank. Had this child been properly seatbelted, she probably would have suffered only minor injuries, like the other passengers.
