Scanner Reports 5-7-18

By Roger the Scanner Guy

The road is all the rage, been hearing these calls lately. Remember my Road Raging days, only had a couple, really one thing I did years ago I’m still ashamed of. I had my Cadillac, I was cruising De La Vina a few miles per hour over the speed limit and this guy pulls out of a drive way in a Honda Prelude and stops just sits there. I had no business going as fast as I was probably 55 or 60 on De La Vina. I had to slam on the brakes to avoid contact, when my vehicle stopped there was an elderly couple looking at the grill of my car in shock. I was a young stupid jerk just backed up and went around them did not ask if they were ok or anything just drove away. After that I slowed down a bit as I felt horrible, I could have killed those poor folks. Another time ex-friend was riding my bumper, I slammed on the brakes, hit me totaling his work truck and had to make up a story to tell his boss. I had a girlfriend who used to drive the speed limit and when someone rode her bumper she would slow down to 5 mph. She really pissed off some people, she’d smile wave. I’d sink way down in the front seat in case bullets came flying. She really had a weird sense of humor, women had to have a weird sense of humor to date me. I have heard a couple local calls in our county the past couple weeks where guns were pulled out, that would be pretty scary if someone cut you off you went to flip em off and they pulled a gun on you. They say 1 in 10 drivers are potential Road Ragers, that might be old stats more like 9 out of 10 now especially the past couple years. My step dad used to lose it all the time and get into fights back in Chicago involving road rage, he’d pull right on over no question. One time I heard he walked up to a car, guy opened his door turned to get out, my step dad grabbed the door slammed in on the guys legs. My step dad was not a fair fighter. Some people are really nuts they take their driving serious they are willing to kill to prove they were right even if it goes the other way and they die in the process it don’t make sense and neither does Road Rage. Got somewhere to be, Leave Early, Slow Down, keep your anger in Check. If your a Road Rager maybe you should not be Driving.

Wondering if anyone out there in Scanner Land has ever tried cannabis balm for pain? I recently bought some and I’m wondering I haven’t used it yet, I kinda want to know if anyone else has used it and how well it works if it works for bad pain or just regular aches and pains? Anyway Hopefully I’m starting to get through this sinus crap really tired not sleeping great but any sleep at all is good. Here are your Scanner Reports, Friday:
