Wind Advisory Until Monday Morning

WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 AM PDT MONDAY…

* TIMING…Gusty northwest to north winds will continue through tonight, diminish some Sunday morning, then increase again Sunday afternoon and Sunday night.

* WINDS…Northwest to north winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts to 50 mph. Isolated gusts to 55 mph will be possible. The strongest winds will occur below and through the passes and canyons of the Santa Ynez Range to the Santa Barbara County south coast mainly from San Marcos Pass to Gaviota pass.

* IMPACTS…Gusty winds will make driving difficult, especially for drivers of high profile vehicles. Roadways impacted by the gusty winds will include Highways 101, 154 and 192 including Gaviota and San Marcos Passes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

When driving, use extra caution. Be prepared for sudden gusty cross winds.
