Whittier Fire Flare Up Not A Threat

Several edhat readers have written in asking about flames being seen on the Goleta hillside Thursday evening.

The Los Padres National Forest Service reported the Sante Barbara Fire Department is receiving an overwhelming number of 911 calls. The Whittier Fire flare-up is currently not a threat to the community, reports the Forest Service.
