A single-vehicle rollover sparked a brush fire off Highway 166 early Thursday morning.

At 4:00 a.m., Santa Barbara County firefighters responded to the area near Spanish Ranch Road and discovered three patients with minor injuries had self-extricated from a vehicle collision.

The vehicle was fully involved in fire that had spread to nearby brush causing a 40×15 foot spot fire. Firefighters extinguished the fire and evaluated the patients.

Three patients suffered minor injuries and were transported to the hospital. California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of this incident.
