  1. I’m glad the gangs here are as tame as they are. But I do wonder how they’re received when they go to state prison among the gangs from la or san diego. Something like “ey where you from? what, you’re from Santa Barbara? why you all gangbanging, you live in paradise where that richington soap opera was filmed, what do you have to fight over, the high cost of rent? that starbucks don’t deliver? that once in a great while its not sunny and 70 degrees outside?”

  2. The teen-aged urge to “belong” claims more victims. That community needs to develop some serious leaders who siphon off boys who aren’t already hard-core. It has to come from within and would be dangerous. The adult men who seduce and threaten these boys need foot soldiers to maintain their territories and produce income. They play for keeps.

  3. What an asinine comment being glad gangs are here. Obviously RYAN93195 has no idea what these bad people do as they creep around in the nightly shadows of our community. Time to do some research & get educated, but don’t get it from your favorite gang banger, 93105.
