“The Last Of Us” Continues to Top Streaming Charts

By TV Jane

For the seventh week in a row the zombie apocalypse show “The Last of Us” has topped streaming charts.

Adapted from a popular video game, this intense and sometimes funny HBO Max drama starrs Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey. It takes place in the United States twenty years after a fungal outbreak goes rampant infecting humans and forcing them to spread the infection. The whole production is well done from writing to scene design. It’s not for the faint of heart with gripping emotional scenes and lots of panic, but the stories are beautifully done.

New to the list is the STARZ reboot of the comedy sitcom “Party Down” starring Adam Scott, Megan Mullally, and Jane Lynch. The first two seasons started in 2009 before being cancelled, but the cult following of fans streaming those seasons endlessly for the past decade prompted execs to bring it back. I’m a fan of the show, the comedy ranges from slapstick to clever (something for everyone) while also poking fun of Hollywood.

See the full list below for the past week:

What I’m Watching: “The Last of Us” and “Party Down.” Very different vibes but both are worth the watch.
