Thank you. It's been out for over two hours. SCE reported power would be restored at 11:14 and now they are saying "unavailable" for restoration time. No reason given for outage. It's San Roque, Samarkand, La Cumbre area. Looks like part of mission canyon too. Can't find any reporting on it

Are you reporting this based on information from website or another source ? Thank you so much for the information. The website doesn't even say crews are working on the problem so I'm a little skeptical

I'm glad for you. I'm on Grove Ln., always considered my home in the San Roque and La Cumbre (and Plaza) area, but being a night person, I'm glad to have avoided this outage.

For those of you who would like to prepare for the upcoming "brown outs", may I suggest that you put together a simple solar system to get you through in a pinch:
>>>>prices will vary depending on wattage/quality/brand ...for example, you can get an MPPT charge controller for $30 or $300<<<
- 100 watt solar panel ($100)
- 100 wH deep-cycle battery ($150)
- 500 watt pure-sine dc-to-ac inverter ($70)
- MPPT Solar charge controller ($30)
- Cables/connectors ($20-40)
- 12v cooler or cooler/warmer ($100)
- Onite 20-US24USB3W-WW USB lights ($9 each)
