Hearing reports of a possible juvenile with a gun near Figueroa and Walnut on the railroad tracks. Several units are responding and setting a perimeter around the subjects. The subjects are directly underneath the Anapamu Bridge.

Is mere possession of a gun a crime or only for an underage person? I presume this was a long-gun and not a handgun as they typically say handgun. I get that it may freak people out and is worthy of police checking it out.
Why would 5 people downvote this? Guns ARE easy to obtain, as is clear here, and that is not a good thing, even if you are anti-gun control. Do you people really think it’s good that kids easily have access to guns? Why are you upset by this observation?
