Mental Health Facility escapee, wanted for stealing a facility vehicle from a Frisco mental health institution. I hope he can get the help that he needs, so sad.
The bridge barrier has failed again? Should never have been built.
I don’t think they found anyone this time, still I agree others have jumped and the barrier was wasted money in my opinion.
Disagree strongly. If it has prevented even suicide (and I think, but who knows that it has) then it was worth building. A friend told me that it silenced her thoughts of jumping from there.

Saying that because there have been suicides the barrier should not have been built is like saying that because someone broke the speed limit and had an accident there should not be a speed limit. No one in that extensive hearing process promised no suicides, just that it was a deterrence. I think it has been, but there can be no proof.
Maybe the County should charge a high “JUMPER” permit fee. That would also help stabilize the pension deficits.
