Santa Barbara County firefighters responded to the 2100 block of Dermanak Road on Friday evening for a reported structure fire.
At 9:29 p.m., crews arrived and discovered a large two-story residence with smoke coming from the roof and chimney box.
Crews quickly went to work and were able to knock down the fire in about twenty minutes.
Residents of the home were able to self-evacuate after discovering light smoke. There were no injuries reported.
The exact cause is under investigation.
