The NatureTrack Film Festival was a hit featuring a sold out opening night while being hosted in Goleta for the first time.

The three-day festival celebrated nature and outdoor adventure at the Metropolitan Fairview Theatre. Special events were held at the Leta Hotel which included free panels with filmmakers, a Filmmaker mixer, and Awards Ceremony.

The festival included 40 films from around the world chosen by co-directors Francisco Lopez and Mitchka Saberi.

Goleta Mayor Paula Perotte said, “Having the NatureTrack Film Festival in Goleta is a natural fit. Our community embraces nature and the outdoors, and that’s what this festival is all about. I am looking forward to checking out the many different screenings and events that will be offered.”
