Motorhome Fire Displaces Two Santa Maria Residents

Santa Barbara County firefighters responded to a motorhome fire in Santa Maria that displaced two residents early Thursday.

At 12:39 a.m., county fire crews and an engine from the Santa Maria Fire Department responded to the 1100 block of Clubhouse Drive for a reported structure fire. Crews found a motorhome parked two feet away from a residential home that was 50% involved in flames.

There were two occupants inside the motorhome that made it out safely prior to firefighters’ arrival. There was no fire extension to the structure and no reported injuries. The cause is under investigation.
