Urgently looking for a missing person last seen two weeks ago in downtown Santa Barbara.
He may be incoherent and/or distraught and in mental distress. His phone is not active.

They would not be providing the police phone number if they were “bad actors” who would obviously not want the police involved. These flyers are often created by the police as well and purposefully give the family’s info.
You people wayyyyy overthink things. Wayyyyy tooo much time on your hands. Just follow the directions of the post. contact the police if you see him. that’s all that is required. Share the poster on social media if you feel like actually being helpful. YOUR SPECULATIONS are not useful. You’re coming off as no-it-alls is really unbecoming. So while you are so bored, why not look inward and ask yourselves, what you can do to be a better human? Because talking crap about strangers in situations that do not involve you makes you look pathetic, and angry. Go volunteer your time doing something useful if you truly want to be a good citizen.
