Man Drowns at Red Rock Pool

 A 38-year-old male drowned at the pool near Red Rock Camp in the Los Padres National Forest Sunday.

At 2:42 p.m., the Santa Barbara County Fire Department joined first responders at the scene and discovered a male victim. Life-saving measures were in place but were unable to revive the victim, according to scanner traffic.

Early Sunday afternoon County 911 got a report of a possible drowning at the Red Rock ‘pool.’ It was reported the man submerged and did not resurface. County Fire, Sheriff’s and Search and Rescue responded and located the victim deceased under the water, The victim was reported reported to be a 38-year-old male. The body was recovered and transported to the Coroner’s Office for investigation.
