Early [Thursday] morning crews from Santa Barbara Fire Department, with assistance from Santa Barbara County Fire Department and Santa Barbara Police Department responded to a report of a structure fire in the 800 block of Grove Lane.
Crews arrived to find a single-family residence with heavy smoke and visible flames. Crews made an aggressive fire attack and were able to have the fire contained within 15 minutes.
There was no damage to adjacent homes and all residents were able to exit the home prior to the fire department’s arrival.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
