Hwy101 Surface Treatment/Gore Area Paving Project Begins Sunday Night

A project to install contrasting surface treatments and paving within the gore points on US 101 from south of the Interchange with State Route 135 in Los Alamos to north of the Solomon Summit Overcrossing will begin on Sunday, Nov. 14.

This project will include a closure of the No. 2 (right) lane Sunday night, Nov. 14 through Monday morning, Nov. 15 during the overnight hours from 9:30 pm until 5:30 am and continue Monday night through Friday morning from 8:30 pm until 5:30 am.  This project will also include overnight/daytime ramp closures at the US 101/State Route 135 Interchange in Los Alamos, the Foxen Lane on/off ramps, the Bell Street off-ramps, the Solomon Summit Interchange and near Tefft Street in Nipomo with further details to be announced when certain.

The contractor for this $4 million project is A.M. Concrete Inc. of Westlake Village, CA.  This project is expected to be complete in the Summer of 2023.
