Hundreds of Bicyclists to Use Portions of Local Highways During Solvang Century Bike Ride This Saturday

Participants in the Solvang Century Bike Ride will utilize portions of the state highway system within Santa Barbara County on Saturday, March 2, 2024, between the hours of 7 am and 5 pm.

This event will allow riders the choice of a 52-mile, 68-mile or 101-mile route. The riders will use portions of the following state highways in the Buellton, Lompoc, Orcutt, and Los Alamos areas:

  • Highway 1
  • State Route 135
  • State Route 246

No road, lane or shoulder closures are permitted. There will be signage along the route informing the public of this event. Travelers in these areas should be aware of these participants.
