Motorists traveling in each direction of US Highway 101 between Olive Mill Road and San Ysidro Road in Montecito will experience 10-minute intermittent traffic breaks on Sunday, July 26 from 6 am until 10 am.
These intermittent traffic breaks are necessary to allow a tele-communications company to move aerial/overhead cables across the highway for installation on nearby poles.
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) will be present to ensure a safe environment for everyone.
This work will be performed by Fiber Tel Communications, under permit from Caltrans.
Caltrans reminds motorists to move over and slow down when driving through highway construction zones.
