Highway 101 Emergency Lane Closure in Carpinteria

Source: Caltrans

The No. 1 (left) lane of northbound US Highway 101 will be closed just east of the Linden Avenue Overcrossing on Thursday, August 29 from 9 am until approximately 11 am.

This emergency lane closure is necessary so that Caltrans can perform repairs to damaged crash cushions along the center median. This roadwork will ensure a safe environment for everyone.

Electronic message boards have been activated to inform the public about this roadwork which will be completed before the busy Labor Day weekend.

Caltrans reminds motorists to move over and slow down when driving through highway construction zones.
