The Santa Barbara County Fire Department responded to a collision between two semi-trucks on Highway 101 northbound near Mariposa Reina in Gaviota.

One of the semi-trucks was delivering a power pole while the other has a standard boxed trailer.

One of the drivers sustained a minor injury and was transferred to Goleta Valley Cottage Hospital.

CHP reports just before 11:00 a.m. Monday that two semi-trucks collided in northbound lanes just south of Mariposa Reina in Gaviota.

There’s heavy fog in the area and traffic is stopped.

One truck driver reports he was rear-ended by the other truck, both requesting a tow.

Lots of traffic backup in the area.
