Grease Fire Spreads to Building in Lompoc

At 2:33 p.m., Santa Barbara County firefighters responded with Lompoc City firefighters to 1410 Burton Mesa Blvd in the Mission Hills area of Lompoc for a reported structure fire.

The address is home to a Mexican restaurant where there was outside cooking taking place. A grease fire started that spread to the eaves of the building.

The restaurant was evacuated and there were no injuries but there was damage to the eaves and outside wall of the building, as well as internal smoke damage.

The business is currently closed.

Structure fire in the 1400 Block of Burton Mesa in Lompoc, smoke and flames seen. The Fire Department is on scene.
