Friday’s SpaceX Launch a Success

The Falcon 9 rocket successfully launched SpaceX 46 Starlink satellites from Vandenberg Friday morning.

At 10:39 a.m. the rocket took off from Space Launch Complex 4 East to low-Earth orbit.

This was the fourth flight for the Falcon 9 first stage booster supporting this mission, which previously launched NROL-87, NROL-87 and SARah-1. Video of the complete launch is available below.

Falcon 9 called a hold at T-46 seconds ahead of Thurday’s planned launch of Starlink.

SpaceX is now targeting tomorrow, July 22 at 10:39 a.m.

SpaceX has scheduled another launch of Starlink satellites from Vandenberg Space Force Base Thursday morning.

The Falcon 9 rocket will launch 46 Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit from Space Launch Complex 4 East.

The instantaneous launch window is at 10:39 a.m. and a backup opportunity is available on Friday, July 22 at 10:39 a.m.

The first stage booster supporting this mission previously launched NROL-87, NROL-85 and SARah-1. Following stage separation, Falcon 9’s first stage will return to Earth and land on the Of Course I Still Love You droneship stationed in the Pacific Ocean.

A live webcast of this mission will begin about five minutes prior to liftoff.
