Flash Flood Watch for Sunday

Source: National Weather Service

A Flash Flood Watch has been issued for Santa Barbara County mountains and the Cuyama Valley today from 11a.m.-9p.m. A Flash flood is a sudden, violent, and fast-moving wall of water. Flash floods are extremely dangerous. Stay alert, avoid low-lying areas, areas with standing water, and areas near creeks or streams. If you are in one of these areas, be prepared to go to high ground or shelter-in-place. Help keep the emergency lines open. Do not call 911 unless you are having an emergency. Thank you for your cooperation. More information: https://www.weather.gov/lox/
